Rope skipping is a traditional sport in our country.It's also the basic teaching content in our school.Rope skipping activities can effectively promote the students on the function of lower limb muscles,joints,ligament and the internal organs.It has a significant effect on the development of jumping ability,agility,coordination and so on.Because of the equipment is simple,full of interesting,and do not need a lot of space,it's easy to carry out.It's a popular activity among primary school students.This paper studies the teaching material design and practical teaching of” Fancy rope skipping” in Huarun Branch of Primary School attached to Chengdu Normal School with literature data method.The research result shows that(1)the “ fancy rope skipping” project reflects the integration of internal and external teaching.(2)Huarun Branch of Primary School attached to Chengdu Normal School organizes a series of skipping competition to promote the development of “ Fancy rope skipping”,such as “ School skipping star standers competition”,“ School skipping Guinness ”,“Four dimensional linkage skipping competition” and so on.(3)The school-based teaching materials considered being healthy as the first principle.Other principles are interesting and gradation.(4)The theory content of the school-based teaching materials in Huarun Branch of Primary School attached to Chengdu Normal School includes the value and function of rope skipping,classification of rope skipping,types of rope skipping equipment,and how to measure the length of the rope.The main purpose is to let students know that skipping is good for their physical development.Students can also learn about a lot kind of skipping ropes.After that they can choose the rope and adjust it according to their own situation.The technical content include three levels.We divided students into three levels according to their age.These three sections are from easy to difficult.In each section,the materials including single skipping teaching,pair-work teaching and group-skipping teaching.From the content of the whole point of view,every part of it can organically combined,and can also exist independently.They close to the student's life,and justified the physical and mental development of students.According to the actual development of elementary school skipping project.We put forward the idea of sustainable development:(1)In order to achieve sustained development of “Fancy rope skipping” in Huarun Branch of Primary School attached to Chengdu Normal School,we should pay higher attention on this “Fancy rope skipping” project and training Physical teachers harder to improve teacher's ability both on theory and technical.We should strengthen the cooperation with experts in skipping teaching field,so that we can improve students' skipping level effectively by using various teaching measures.(2)We should go on to make a in-depth study of the school-based teaching material,and develop a skipping rope teaching material that can meet the needs of students with different levels of rope skipping.
