1.Objective Observing the effects of normoxic and hypoxic exercise on glucose and lipid metabolism in typeⅡ diabetes rats,to investigate the effect and possible mechanism on of normoxic and hypoxic exercise on type Ⅱdiabetes.2.Methods Selecting male rats aged 6 to 8 weeks as experimental subject,10 rats were selected randomly from those rats as normal control group.The rest were fed with high sugar and high fat diet 4weeks and injected intraperitoneally with STZ to establish type Ⅱ diabetes rats model.After modeling success,30 type Ⅱ diabetes rats selected were divided randomly into 3 groups,diabetic group,hypoxic exercise group,normoxic exercise group,10 rats in each group.The last two group were trained respectively on treadmill for 4 weeks(gradient of 0°,speed of 15m·min-1,60 min·d-1,6d·W-1).Hypoxic exercise were trained in hypoxic tent system(simulating hypoxic environment of 2500 m latitude with oxygen concentration at 15%).After the last exercise,all the rats were fasted for 12 hours.After anesthesia blood was taken from abdominal cavity and fat around liver and kidney.The data of FBG,FINS,TC,TG,HDL,LDL-C,Ins R in liver tissue,GCK,GLUT-4 in visceral adipose tissue were measured.3.Results(1)After 4-week’s exercise intervention,the symptom of normoxic exercise group and hypoxic exercise group relieved compared with diabetic rats.And hypoxic exercise got remarkable effects.(2)Compared with normal control group,TC、TG and LDL-C of diabetic rats were increased significantly(P<0.01).Compared with diabetic group,LDL-C and TC of normoxic exercise group were decreased significantly(P<0.01);LDL-C,TG and TC of hypoxic exercise group were decreased significantly(P<0.01),and HDL was increased(P<0.05).compared with hypoxic exercise group,TC,TG and LDL-C of normoxic exercise group were higher(P>0.05),and HDL was lower(P>0.05).(3)Compared with normal control group,FBG of diabetic rats was increased(P<0.05).Compared with diabetic group,FBG of normoxic exercise group and hypoxic exercise group were decreased significantly(P<0.01).compared with hypoxic exercise group,FBG of normoxic exercise group was higher(P>0.05).(4)Compared with normal control group,FINS of diabetic rats was increased(P<0.05).Compared with diabetic group,FINS of normoxic exercise group and hypoxic exercise group were decreased significantly(P<0.01).compared with hypoxic exercise group,FINS of normoxic exercise group was higher(P<0.05).(5)Compared with normal control group,Ins R,GCK,GLUT-4 in liver of diabetic rats were decreased significantly(P<0.01).Compared with diabetic group,Ins R,GCK GLUT-4 in liver of normoxic exercise group and hypoxic exercise group were increased significantly(P<0.05).compared with hypoxic exercise group,GCK of normoxic exercise group was decreased(P<0.05).4.Conclusion Both normoxic exercise and hypoxic exercise can reduce the concentration of FBG and FINS of type Ⅱ diabetic rats,reduce serum TG,TC and LDL-C levels and increase HDL,and increase Ins R and GCK in liver tissue and GLUT-4 in visceral adipose tissue,are helpful to promote the recovery of glucose and lipid metabolism in type Ⅱ diabetic rats.And intervention efforts of hypoxic exercise is better than normoxic exercise.
