Critical thinking in recent years has become a hot issue in the language teaching,its essence is the development of students' ability of independent thinking;modern literature occupies a large part in language teaching in junior high school,compared to obscure classical,modern text legibility and ease of operation makes the modern paper become a good tool of cultivating students' critical thinking therefore,in the modern reading teaching,the teachers adopt appropriate methods and measures,is conducive to the cultivation of students' critical thinking,students' critical thinking ability is conducive to the improvement of students' ability of reading and understanding ability,critical thinking and has an important role in the teaching of reading.This paper is mainly to cultivate modern reading in critical thinking as the topic,combined with the characteristics of teaching of Chinese reading in junior high school,trying to summarize effectively improve students' critical reading thinking method.Taking Beijing city of Chaoyang District X middle school as the research object,in-depth modern reading teaching practice,combined with the related theory of critical thinking and mode the section design,the development of students' critical thinking teaching,This study uses literature method,observation method,method of questionnaire and interview to understand the school teachers are not active thinking,the traditional teaching mode;the students' interest in reading is higher,thinking depth is low,the combination of effective methods of teacher development of critical thinking is summarized to arouse students' reading consciousness;to guide students to learn to think independently other suggestions,In order to cultivate students' critical thinking for the future provide a point of reference.This article is divided into six parts,the first part is the introduction,mainly elaborated the research origin,research significance and research value,the literature review,the definition and research methods;the second part mainly introduces the modern reading teaching on students'critical thinking,cultivate the practical favorable conditions for the cultivation of critical thinking feasibility and the necessity and critical thinking;The third part analyzes the status quo of modern prose reading teaching students' critical thinking training,the traditional teaching model of teachers and some students based on the reality on the basis of the development of critical thinking,thinking depth low students reading;the fourth part,analysis of the causes of the current of the junior school students critical thinking ability is low,from lack of education system and students' knowledge,the development of critical thinking ability is limited to analyze two aspects;the fifth part,put forward the concrete operation is beneficial to the students' development of critical thinking,from the aspects of teachers,students and teaching materials to be prepared and arouse students' critical thinking reading consciousness;cultivate students' independent thinking reading habits and other measures;the sixth part,according to the characteristics of critical thinking and practical problems in accordance with the cultivation of critical thinking.Approaches to the implementation of a?ugly duckling?as an example of the classroom case.
