In western countries,teachers started early to train students' critical thinkingability,which is one of the cores of the thinking abilities,and also have achieved initial success.However,the introduction of critical thinking in our country isn't as early as the western countries,and it hasn't been formed the scientific and systematic study in daily teaching,either.Suppose the teachers succeed in cultivating students' critical thinking ability in the teachings of Chinese reading comprehension,the thinking ability and Chinese accomplishment of the students will be improved and enhanced.This thesis focuses on discussing how to cultivate student's critical thinking ability in the teaching of comprehension,based on the1 thinking features and case analyses of junior students.There are five parts in the thesis.The first part,introduces the research origin and significance of the study.It analyzes several key concepts such as critical thinking and the teaching of Chinese comprehension.It also states relevant research results both at home and abroad,and puts forward the research methods.The second part,on the basis of analyzing concepts of the critical thinking ability,it concludes the effect of the critical thinking ability played in the analysis,the process and the result of the reflection,and the attitude of independence and the rationality.Further discussion is made on the relationship between the teaching of Chinese comprehension and the critical thinking ability,which is necessary and feasible.The third part,by analyzing the data results of the questionnaire,which is the Critical Thinking Quality of the Junior High School Students,we get a general view of the current situation of the critical thinking of the students in reading,and then conclude the thinking features of the students and the different aspects of the cultivating of critical thinking.The fourth part,combined with the features of the teaching of Chinese comprehension,the principles of the cultivating of critical thinking are concluded.It is the combination of the static and dynamic,the whole and part,the abstract and concrete,and the implicit and explicit.Furthermore,the thesis puts forward the way of cultivating the critical thinking of the students,which is to pay attention to theShanghai Normal University Master/Doctor of Philosophy Abstract audience awareness of the students,the ability of the approval and question,thecultivation of the rational thinking and reflective ability.The fifth part,from the horizontal of the different kinds of the articles and the vertical of the classroom teaching,the improvement strategy is summarized by analyzing the classic lesson example of the combination of the critical thinking and the teaching of Chinese comprehension teaching in practical teaching.It includes constructing the atmosphere of free talking,encouraging the approval and question,creating the question situation,encouraging the rational thinking and reflection,keeping the audience awareness to study the difficulty of the articles,providing the supplementary materials,and learning comprehensive and independent analysis,and so on.
