With the growth of the urbanization,vast changes have appeared in rural China.More and more young parents go out to work soon after their babies are born.That leads to a lot of children can only live with their grandparents.It formed a phenomenon of grandparenting in the rural left-behind family.This kind of family have many problems in terms of body and mind,nurturing and emotional communication due to the lack of parental role.Therefore,the study of this phenomenon is very necessary.First of all,the article uses field observation and interview to investigates the every generation of left-behind family in Tian Xin Village Ji’an City.It studies the grandparenting issues of village’s left-behind families.There are four problems in that families,which are the psychological state is declining,the health and safety are affected,child behavior tends to be bad and the education method is old.The imperfect of family construction,the one-sided household education consciousness,the attention of exam-oriented education and the fuzzy policy system are the important reasons of the problems.The author forecasts for the grandparenting needs.He founds that it’s mainly for family feelings of belonging,the strength of security capability,the health of the family atmosphere ang the improvement of education quality.Second,the author analyzes the advantages of individual case social work and group social work service for grandparenting in the rural left-behind family.It is on that basis of the significance and practicable of social work service.The individual case’s advantages mainly includes the pertinence of service object and comprehensive of problem concern.Let the whole family become service object.Choosing structural family therapy and psychosocial therapy.Changing the conflict between family members.And enhancing the effect of family upbringing.The group’s advantages mainly includes the clarity of team goals,the homogeneity of members’ problemes,the efficiency of activity form and the demonstration of accompanied by group.In the form of mutual assistance between the two generations,exercising the self-knowledge and easing the contradictory forms of communication.Thirdly,the author selects two cases respectively to analyzes research of social work service for grandparenting in the rural left-behind family.Among them,theindividual case introduces the education problems between a boy named small Z and his grandma.The group case introduces the situation of a group of every generation family with growth and help each other,the group is named "Hands Pull Hands".In the end,the author combines the summary of social work service activities,sets out the resources and fortes of service area.He puts forward the total social work service process of grandparenting in the rural left-behind family tentatively,and the suggestions of service course sustainable development.He indicates the deficiency available in the study.This article hopes to cause social people more attention to grandparenting in the rural left-behind family.To guides the household education way of village left-behind family better.To improves the quality of household education.
