With the continuous development of science and technology and renovation of educational technology, the microlecture in new media environment has gradually approached into our daily teaching process. In order to effectively present the key and difficult points, teachers conduct courses by implementing videos, animations, images, background music. The "Basic Education Curriculum Reform Program (Trial)" clearly defines curriculum structure for the junior middle school stage, and actively promote the combination of science and integrated curriculum. Accordingly, each school should spare no efforts creating conditions to carry out elective courses, in hope of the realization of students’ individual development. At the same time, the mode of microlecture arouse great attention of educators.More and more attention is attached to the study of the microlecture in foreign countries and it is continuously applied into not only real life but also teaching practice, which brings great convenience to both researchers and learners. On the contrary, the study of the microlecture at home is still at the junior stage, during which the practical implementation is far from mature. The micro lesson serves as a an interaction tools between teachers. Our ultimate goal is not the construction and exploration of the microlecture but the better application into teaching practice. Allowing for all the factors mentioned above, it is concluded there is great space for the study of the microlecture and also there is great research value.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part, including the research background, purpose, significance, research contents and methods. The second chapter is literature review, which sorts out and summarizes the domestic and foreign research. It paves the way for the theoretical foundation of this research. The case study of the microlecture is illustrated in the third chapter, which mainly introduces the process and results of the implementation process. The fourth chapter is the conclusion of the study and suggestions for the teaching of the course. This paper mainly presents the value of the microlecture in practical teaching, the existing problems and some suggestions to improve the effective application of the microlecture in the teaching process. The fifth chapter is the summary of the existing problems in this research and future research prospects.
