| Nowadays, college students’ learning styles present a diversified development trends, Flipped classroom, Mobile learning, Micro-curriculum, Micro-learning and other learning methods appeared, students’ learning are no longer confined to classroom. Micro-learning as a way of learning in the students’ spare time, is widely used in the universities, and has become an essential learning method for students to adapt to the society. So to study the Micro-learning situation of college students at present and find out the problems, then put forward the optimization strategies and enable college students to better use of the new learning style, is particularly important for college students to better adapt to modern social life.This study investigated the college students’Micro-learning from their perspective, and chose some college students in Xi’an as respondents. Literature review, questionnaire survey and personal interview were used to the study. The study includes six modules:the basic information, learning conditions and daily behavior of the respondents, Micro-learning resources, and the Micro-learning cognition and Micro-learning literacy of the respondents.Through the survey and the analysis of the data, the study drew conclusions:at present, college students have the conditions to use smartphones to learn, but there are some issues for smartphones. Some universities have opened the campus wireless network, but others do not have the campus wireless network. The Micro-learning resources have low pertinency. College students have recognized the importance of Micro-learning, but the cognition and literacy of the college students still need improvement. Teachers have not yet played significant role in helping college students in the Micro-learning.According to the survey, the thesis proposed several strategies to optimize the Micro-learning of college students based on smartphones. (1) Speed up the construction of the network and facilitate the building of digital campus. (2) Optimize the performance and improve the support of smartphones. (3) Strengthen the development and effective management of Micro-learning resources. (4) Teachers should play an important role in the students’Micro-learning. (5) Improve learners’ comprehensive quality of Micro-learning. |
