We know that the quality of learning mathematics word problems will directly affect the students thinking ability of development and practical application.Paper reference literature of CNKI database, compiled the questionnaire for students views on word problems and students to know the present situation of the application of questionnaire, the other for teachers to write a set of interview questionnaire. Also created a set of application tests, before the interview students let students do the application within the prescribed time. After this, and has carried on the brief interviews to students, this article says the word referring to the application questions are one dollar Equation title.Through the questionnaire of data processing and analysis, summed up the first student in word problems exist the following problems:(1) no contact the actual life. (2) cannot be accurately extract information; Equation (3) errors, the aspect includes two kinds, one kind is equal relations error, and one is not unified equation of unit; (4) a question and answer are narrative is incomplete or multiple solution problem consider not comprehensive; (5) the relation between the number of understanding is not clear. There also exist in teachers’ inadequate:can’t exert students’ application of initiative, single teaching way, affect the students’ application of the answer.In this article, through analysis and study of students and teachers in learning to produce all kinds of obstacles, puts forward the following Suggestions:Must first correct attitude for students, build self-confidence; in turn, must pay attention to preview and review as well as the knowledge induction and the wrong topic set; Finally stressed the need to apply mathematics to life. For teachers should first improve their own knowledge reserves; Listen to the teacher in the teaching more at ordinary times, evaluation and study materials; Scientific and reasonable set assignments and homework; and strengthen their thinking in the teaching guidance; Pay attention to double-base teaching, geometry and algebra.
