Junior High School Math Application Problem Solving Obstacles

Applied Mathematics is a bridge, associated with mathematics theory and mathematics practical usage. It will play an increasingly important role in the implementation of quality education in mathematics. All countries in the world face mathematics curriculum for the 21st century. They all put the teaching of application of mathematics into an important position. Iinvestigated the weak base school------Jiu Gong Middle School in my area in Beijing by twosurveys and answers where I applied mathematics and teaching status. The current investigations showed that the vast majority of teachers know clearly students' obstacles in solving application of mathematics, but they're not only lack of deep research, but also suffer from a lack of better teaching strategies. So the vast majority of students are afraid of studying the application as stated. According to the survey results, the paper presented research applications and solve mathematical obstacles significance.I design two tests in order to further know the students' obstacles in solving application of mathematics, this is the result below:1. Either primary or secondary application questions and applications, students will be affected by background knowledge.2. Students in the Applied Mathematics and obstacles, in addition to the impact of background knowledge, will be affected by unable to extract the corresponding mathematical knowledge and the impact of the application of mathematics and mathematics. This may be connected with the middle school math and some knowledge of the difficulty, and existing knowledge systems.3. Students in the application are affected by the settlement of digital.4. Secondary school teachers should focus on teaching in the application of mathematical methods and penetration strategy should be given to the students.
