| Children’s help- seeking behaviors in kindergarten are closely related with sociality. Help- seeking behavior is a kind of social skill to meet the needs of their own development, and it is also a positive interpersonal behavior, it reflects the ability of the individual to adapt to the environment. What behaviors children will seek help in the kindergarten? Who they will choose to turn for help? What kind of way to turn for help? The teachers will how to respond to the behaviors of the children’s help and so on. This study selects 111 children who are 5 to 6 years old as the research objectsis, conducts to investigate the relationship between the 5-6 years old children’s help seeking behaviors and the influencing factors.This study mainly applied observation scale of children’s help-seeking to determine children’s behaviors and the four dimensions test. Observe and test children’s help seeking behaviors, the family parenting style and temperament characteristics were investigated by means of the questionnaire of family parenting style and the PTQ children’s Temperament Scale (parents). Statistical analysis software SPSS 17.0 was used to entry the results data and statistieal analysis. The results show that:Firstly, the content of children’s help-seeking behaviors is that seeking help in msterial and life are common. The sex of children’s help-seeking behaviors is that children of different sex seeking help in life and interpersonal interaction are significant difference. The ways of children’s help-seeking behaviors are that children are in favor of using language. The results of children’s help-seeking behaviors are that teachers positve response is more than passive response.Seeondly, parental rearing styles can influnce children’s help-seeking behaviors. Laissez faire dimensions to live help and total help, inconsistent dimension to interpersonal help has significant positive impact; Democratic dimension to material help has significant negative influence; Arbitrary dimension to learning help has significant positive impact, and to total help has significant negative impact.Thirdly, temperament of children can influnce help-seeking behaviors. Mood dimension and horizontal dimension to material assistance help and total help, lasting dimension to learning help, the distraction of the dimension to total help have significant positive effect; adaptability dimension to interpersonal communication for help and total help has significant negative influence; Pay attention to the quality of gas dispersion dimension to live help has significant positive impact, and to material assistance has significant negative effect, the threshold dimension to interpersonal help has significant positive impact, and to total help has significant negative impact.Based on the results of above analysis, in order to better support the development direction of guiding the behavior of children, teachers must do the followings:The first, teachers can encourage children to help each other. Second, focus on children’s life experience and guide parents to have a deep understanding and positive support for children. Third, respect for each child’s uniqueness, give targeted guidance. At the same time parents must do the followings:The first, in the face of the children’s help seeking behaviors, parents should provide the appropriate help. Second, establish warm and harmonious family atmosphere. Third, parents should understand the characteristics of children’s temperament, according to the characteristics of children to educate them. |
