With the development of economy and the progress of the society, Thailand's education career moves towards a regularization road after the Second World War. The characteristic education in Thailand's middle school is different from the general education, which has distinct Thailand characteristics and begins to completely and systematically run through the whole middle school education. Thailand's middle school education aims to cultivate this kind of students who have civic dispositions, personal virtue and social responsibilities. On the content of education, schools not only pay attention to the accumulation of knowledge, but also pay attention to the humanity education, existence education, health education and environment education and so on. On the approaches of education, such fields education are given equal attention as in school, society, religion, family, daily life, which gradually form a fruitful Thailand middle school education system. The author, a volunteer who works as a Chinese teacher in a middle school in Thailand writes this paper aims to have a detailed studies on middle school education of Thailand. This paper begins with the current state of middle school education in Thailand, centers in its characteristic education, combines with his own teaching practices, and studies middle school education from the aspects both in breadth and depth.This paper includes four parts:the introduction proposes the research background and the significance of topic selection. The first part reviews the history and makes a brief description about the current state of middle school education in Thailand, and illustrates the concepts that are put forward in this paper. The second part classifies the characteristic education in Thailand middle school into five aspects:curriculum, school religious activities, school holiday commemorations, extracurricular activities, school etiquette; and makes detailed elaboration and summaries through concrete examples. Last part summarizes some problems that exist in middle school education in Thailand and enlightenment.
