New elementary school mathematics curriculum standards clearly states that pay attention to the level of students’ mathematics learning, but also to focus on their activities in mathematics manifested in emotions and attitudes. The motivation directly affects students’learning attitudes and learning. Motivation is the basis for learning attitude, research student motivation is a necessary part of teaching. Motivation to learn behavior and maintaining internal dynamics, is to motivate and guide students in learning a need for mathematics learning as well as the results of the whole process has a critical influence. Therefore, to stimulate students motivation to learn mathematics is particularly important and urgent.In this paper, achievement motivation to learn ’expectations-value "theory, the theory of self-motivation, self-efficacy theory, achievement goal theory, combined with foreign scholars on the primary achievement motivation research papers, using the questionnaire sample surveys, the above research to investigate, using SPSS software for analysis, to understand the three-sixth grade math students overall learning achievement motivation, achievement and motivation correlation differences of different students, the survey found that:(1)Three to six grader Mathematics Learning Achievement Motivation overall situation was normal, and the average level is high; (2)Primary school mathematics learning achievement motivation score and each dimension and math scores were significantly related to the level of achievement motivation on student academic achievement has a very high predictive power; (3)The lower grades in mathematics learning initiative worse, higher grades on the value of mathematics on cognitive and performance targets downward trend; (4) In the performance targets to be significantly lower dimension girls than boys, boys in behavioral dimension initiative significantly lower than girls;(5) Accommodation of students learning mathematics self-efficacy was significantly higher than commuting students, commuting students more recognition than resident students the value of mathematics; (6)Urban primary schools mathematics learning achievement levels were significantly higher than in rural primary motivation high. Finally, according to the survey results are discussed in "student ideas" as the basis, teaching suggestions are given in order to achieve "individualized" purposes.
