A Study On The Status Quo Of 0-3 Years Old Infants

Nowadays,the grandparents’ upbringing has become a main way of Chinese family upbringing,the grandparents’ upbringing of 0-3-year-old infants phenomenon is also increasingly common,the phenomenon deeply impact on the healthy development of infants.With the development of our national economy and the progress of society,people have increasing realized that 0-3 year old plays an extremely important role in one’s life.Although the grandparents’upbringing of 0-3-year-old infants has attracted the attention of society,but there has been little empirical studies related to it.The research takes the 175 grandparents who are upbringing their 0-3-year-old grandchildren as the object of study,which is in Suihua city of Heilongjiang province.By the method of questionnaires and interviews,investigating the current conditions that grandparents’ upbringing of 0-3-year-old infants,analyzing the questions which the grandparents’ upbringing exists.Through the study found that the problems in the grandparents’ upbringing are as following:there are more women than men among the grandparents upbringing people,while the role of men to play is not enough;lack of parental upbringing seriously in the grandparents’ upbringing;the conception of grandparents upbringing people are relatively backward,their upbringing method is not science,and breeding content is relatively one-sided.These problems are mainly influenced by traditional concepts,shortage of education resources of 0-3-year-old infants and expensive,young parents are busy living and their parenting conception has changed,the cultural level of grandparents upbringing people is lower and lack of scientific knowledge of early upbringing.The research puts forward the following suggestions according to these reasons and problems.To speed up economic development and increase investment in early education of 0-3-year-old infants.Improve the sense of parents’ responsibility,establish a good parental relationship.Update the conception of grandparents and transform their upbringing style.Grandparents should be more communication with the young parents to maintain consistency of family upbringing.
