Nowadays many junior middle school students cannot grasp the styles of novels and teachers have problems in teaching novels. According to these, the author put forward some ways to improve it:First, based on the learning situation, identify the lifting point. Second, to cultivate students' reading ability is the goal, and organize group learning activities. Third, organize different learning activities to promote the formation of students' reading ability. According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard, the author used Bloom's taxonomy theory, sorting out the novels of the junior middle school essay knowledge classification and the corresponding reading ability, to provide the basis for the selection of novel teaching contents in the teaching. Under the guidance of the target, the author read each story case of the novels to sort out the teaching content and to implement the reading ability. In teaching implementation, the author advocates integrating teaching contents under the guidance of the learning objectives and the actual situation of the students. According to the guiding questions structure learning activities. And basing on the specific teaching content, select the appropriate learning activities. Let the students exercise their reading ability fully, and then get a unique reading experience.
