In order to meet the demands of new talents in 21 st century, our country has to carry out a new curriculum reform of education. As an important part of the new curriculum reform, physical education is high-profiled than before, especially in the context of teenagers' health continuing to decline. Along with the country's various policies to strengthen the implementation of school sports activities, it also put forwards new requirements for the physical education teachers in our pretraining and post work. Colleges and universities are the main body of sports teachers' preservice training. Therefore, wether the univerisities can keep up with the pace of timely reform, and cultivate those PE teachers who are suitable for the current basic education teaching. Both of them are important factors that determine the quality of elementary schools' physical education. However, the traditional physical education has fallen behind the sports teaching development, and caused the contradiction of the separation between supply and demand of training needs for the current sports teachers. Therefore, under the background of new curriculum reform, it is of positive significance for the preservice teacher education reform and perfection to propose the optimization of PE teachers' pretraining, from the vocational training needs of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools.This study takes PE teachers in elementary and middle schools of Shandong Province as an example, in order to research the teachers' post demand and preservice training. This study has used the survey method, literature method, mathematical statistics research methods and taking the respondents in the survey are those working as PE teachers after 2000 in primary and middle schools. Physical education teaching professional knowledge, skills and methods of training and post demand as main contents were investigated. The conclusions are as follows:1. In the aspect of curriculum construction, the current pre-service training of physical education teachers in primary and secondary school in shandong province, did not pay attention to the expansion of the emerging disciplines and traditional course content updates, the lack of the system of teacher's professional ability and the methods to cultivate PE course, and the lack of practicing courses at the same time. The heavy subject teachers teaching in colleges and universities of the knowledge and skills, has neglected the cultivation of students' vocational ability, and lack of direct communication to students after school. Pre-service training in the lack of a comprehensive scientific talents evaluation criteria, the lack of Pre-service teachers' professional consciousness and respect for their own development needs, it is difficult to guarantee the quality of personnel training.2. In the field of curriculum, sports teachers' pre-service training teaching should focus on basic education requirements, and attach great importance to the emerging discipline construction and the traditional curriculum content updates. What's more, teaching should pay much attention to the development of PE teachers' professional ability of curriculum system construction; at the same time, targeted to strengthen teaching practice courses, especially the more prominent in the classroom teaching ability, the ability of the development of extracurricular sports, the sports teaching research ability and the use of different teaching ways.3. The college teachers, should pay attention to the latest development of school sports, update teaching ideas and to teach the students knowledge and skills in the class; at the same time, spend muc on the cultivation of the students professional ability and the method using ability, and pay attention to the guidance and communication to the student learning and development after school.4. Our country should spare efforts to improve the pre-service education appraisal mechanism, not only to test the knowledge skills, but also professional skill level, professional ability and the method of master and apply into the inspection system, and set strict standards, to ensure the professionalism of personnel training in the normative.5. Pre-service teachers should build up the idea of learning to practice diligently, and pay attention to their own professional knowledge, ability, methods, such as quality guarantee, since a line of daily learning should be actively involved in the teaching practice, and constantly improve themselves in practice. The pre-service training teachers should pay attention to their physiological, psychological differences on interests and hobbies, and pay attention to complement each other, learn from each other and improve themselves effectively.
