Dreams exit in each book of the current middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press. According to statistics, totally, there are 75 articles about dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press(excluding the repeated). Works about dreams presents so frequently in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press as a special literary image. It shows the necessity of research of dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press.This study of dreams is conducted based on current middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press, current high school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press and secondary vocational school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press. The study focuses on analysis of classification, characteristics, functions, teaching strategies and problems which need attention.This paper consists of introduction, text and epilogue and the text consists of five chapters.The introduction part mainly includes topic research significance, topic research status,topic research methods and topic research ideas of the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press.The first chapter defines the related concept of the dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press. For the convenience of discussion, the key concepts,existing in the paper, of the People's Education Press, dreams, dreamlands, textual dreams and so on are defined. The relationship between dreams and dreamlands are analyzed.Classification and analysis of the dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press are mainly discussed in the second chapter. Based on predecessors' research results, this article attempts classify description of the related dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press by starting from the themes and presentation skills of the dreams and combined the content of the dreams. According to the themes of the dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press,the dreams are classified into six types including the dream of missing, the dream of love, the dream of life, the dream of homeland, the dream of ideal and the dream of daydreams. According to the presentation skills of the dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People'sEducation Press, the dreams are classified into three types of documentary dreams, figurative dreams and allusion dreams.The third chapter mainly includes the characteristics and the functions of the dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press. The characteristics of the dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press are purposefulness, condensation, virtual reality and idealism. The dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press enables students to feel and touch life in Chinese learning and can convey value orientation and make the students to establish correct values. The dreams can be used for creating characters and drive development of plots. The dreams can be used for scenery depiction and make people to have aesthetic feeling. The dreams can be applied to express emotion and sense life.The fourth chapter mainly includes the teaching strategies of the dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press. The teachers should guide students to correctly understand production of dreams. Use the background method to start teaching of the dreams in Chinese textbooks. Topic-oriented teaching is used to guide the students to research the textual dreams in an independence, cooperation and exploration mode. Appropriate teaching methods should be used flexibly. Stimulate students' interest in learning. Thematic education of“the Chinese dream” is conducted according to the dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press to stimulate the patriotic education of the students,guide the students to establish the ideal faith and cultivate the students to establish national sense of responsibility.The fifth chapter mainly discusses the problems which need attention in the teaching press of the dreams in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press. The teachers should understand the editor's intention and explain the textual dreams according to the editor's intention. Specific ideas existing in the textual dreams are conveyed to the students by combining the life of the students. The teachers should improve self accomplishment and pay more attention to the research of the textual dreams. Finally, the teachers should pay attention to the influence of the textual dreams on the ideological and moral education of the students.Conclusion part: this research paper systematically classifies the dreams existing in the middle school Chinese textbooks of the People's Education Press. Systematical attention isconducted on related important chapters. Comprehensive, detailed and thoroughly research is conducted on the dreams.
