The Content And Methods Of Mental Health Education In Middle School Biology Teaching

In the end of last century, a round of new revolution of basic education course was started in China, which aimed at “Deepen the education reform, comprehensively promote quality education”. The target of quality education was to improve literacy, including emphasis on training of knowledge and ability of students, even as education of their moral quality, civilization accomplishment, the outlook on life and values, and so on. Quality education also aimed at promoting the comprehensive development of students. As a necessary quality of a person, education of the psychological quality attracted huge attention.The education of mental health was started relatively late in some primary and secondary schools of China. Moreover, the present education of mental health has not reached the expected results. Various problems were still existed in education of mental health on students. Based on this situation, the main problems of mental health on high school students was analyzed by referring to relevant journal articles from four aspects, including learning, interpersonal relationship, emotional, and the setback to adapt. Resources and materials of textbooks was dig according to the theoretical guidance of positive psychology, humanistic psychology, developmental psychology and so on. This study also focused on the content of biology teaching In psychological health education in high school, including cultivating emotional attitude and values, increasing the students interest, handling the relationships and improving the ability to resist setback and so on. Depending on the properties of biological discipline and discipline of psychological development in the procedure of teaching, method of mental health education in biological teaching was discussed from four aspects, including instructional objectives、content of courses、teaching method and teaching environment.In conclusion, psychological education aim could be designed from the values of emotional attitude angle in senior biology teaching. After the correct treatment of textbook content, appropriate Teaching methods and teaching means will be carried out to creating favorable academic environment in the education of psychological health. This method will inspire the learning initiative of students, improve their self-confidence, improve sound development of their psychological diathesis, and achieve the target of education.
