Classical Chinese has a long history. It is no punctuation and difficult to understand. The students in the countryside junior middle school have on interest in classical Chinese. The test to classical Chinese in the senior high school entrance examination launches ability by memorizing to ability by the understanding and appreciation. It's a challenge for the teaching of classical Chinese in countryside junior middle school. what the present situation of teaching of classical Chinese in countryside junior middle school is like, what kinds of problem are met in teaching of classical Chinese in countryside junior middle school, how to solve these problems, these are concentrated by teaching of Chinese. In order to help improve the teaching method of classical Chinese in the countryside junior middle school and enhances the teaching effect, the author investigates the present situation of teaching of classical Chinese in countryside junior middle school, analyzes the reason of the problem and makes suggestions.This paper includes four parts. The first part is the investigation about the present situation of teaching of classical Chinese in countryside junior middle school. By survey, we know that the students have on interest and knowledge accumulation in classical Chinese, the teachers can fully considering the situation of the students, but their teaching method aim for examination, is mainly skipping and too single. The second part analyses the cause of problems are met in students learning and teachers teaching. First of all, the foundation of the students in countryside junior middle school is weak. Secondly, students and parents are not aware the importance of improving the quality, Thirdly, the Chinese teacher's quality needs to be improved. Finally, the teaching of classical Chinese is focused on score, rather than development of student `s ability. The evaluation system has important implications for students and teachers. The learning method of students and the teaching method of teachers depend mostly on score. The author makes suggestions on how to improve teaching method of Classical Chinese in the countryside junior middle school in the third part. In order to help improve the teaching method of countryside teacher, the author with own teaching cases introduces situational teaching, role playing, imagine experience and reading etc. The fourth part points out misunderstanding of teaching of classical Chinese in countryside junior middle school. It includes knowledge is not equal to teaching methods, skipping is not equal to speaking word for word and learning is not equal to formulaic.
