Examination is an im portant means of selecting talents. It has a long history of thousands of years in China. But th e exam-oriented education in today’s society is blamed by many people. Examination should be an im portant way t o implement the curriculum objectives and promote the development of the students as an important way of teaching evaluation. However, people will take th e examination as the only way to test the evaluatio n of teachers’ teaching level, and the only way of screening and selecting students. But the way has brought a series of m alpractices, also ignored the reasonable or ientation of the exam. The paper will take the m iddle school Chinese exam ination as exam ple, and study on the exam ination’s oriented function to explore how to achieve the guiding functi on of m iddle school Chinese examination correctly.The paper is divided into four parts. In the first part, the author expounds the new understanding of the concept of middle school Chinese examination oriented function; In the second part, the guiding function of the examination in China and America are compared and analyzed. The author think th at the examination’s guiding function in America is clarity, diversity, advanced and practical; while in China it is b lurred, single, hysteresis and theoretical. So th e paper will exp lore the real caus es of exam-oriented education system malpractice and its new ref orm ideas; In the th ird part, the author unifies he r teaching practice and the current situation of Chinese teaching in middle schools of Heze, and study on the current middle school Chinese examination, analyze the main problems: firstly, super high school, super teacher, "test machine" is rich in the guiding of the hi gh school exam ination; secondly, the test guiding function covers the essence of the education, the high school Chinese teacher appears more impetuous; thirdly, the pursuit of knowledge scores becom es the only objection. The cultivation of the education focus on th e language ability becomes empty. In the fourth part, the author put forward the way to clear the guiding function of the m iddle school C hinese examination, based on the objection of prom oting students’ all-round developm ent, and com bining with the teach ing practice. The author suggests that the m iddle school Chinese language exam ination should play reasonable orientation function, and need th e students, the m ediation and the object try to make sure the right function.
