Analysis Of China's Network Political Participation Mechanism

Political participation is an act that civils express individual willing and practice political rights.It is the practice of participatory democracy in real politics.The development of Internet provides individuals wider channel to express their own ideas,and push forward the development of cyber political participation.To deconstruct the mechanism of cyber political participation,four linked elements would be involved into the study field: actor,channel,norms and response of government.Compared with traditional political participation,the cyber political participation gains advantages in wider range of actor pool,more choice of channels,less norms and more concentration on timeliness and effectiveness in governmental response.China's Internet is in a high speed of developing and popularizing,which also boost the development of Chinese cyber political participation.We have a large quantity of cyber participator who is younger than traditional,abundant participate channel,more basic norms on cyber space and improvement on timeliness and effectiveness in governmental response.In the case of Facebook battle,the youngness of our actors is obvious.Those participators governed their acts effectively via spontaneous proposed norms which assure the order in the participant.Chinese government have responded the event in time which shows the positive attitude to the act,inspired the development of Chinese cyber political participants to participate more in the future.
