Japanese Animal Welfare Legislation Research

Animal welfare in our country is a relatively unfamiliar concept.With the continuous development of China’s economy,China has become the world’s second largest economy,the national moral quality and cultural accomplishment also will increase,protect the concept of animal enjoys popular support.However,animal protection legislation in China has been unable to meet the actual needs of animal welfare began to receive more attention.China has not yet enacted animal welfare law,as the Asian neighbors in Japan in this area on the development of considerable achievements.Therefore,this paper chooses Japan,which is similar to the natural environment and cultural tradition,to contrast the legislation of animal welfare and draw lessons from the development of animal welfare legislation in order to promote the development of animal welfare legislation in our country.The article first introduces the concept of animal and animal welfare,the origin of animal welfare law,historical development and its characteristics.And then the Japanese animal welfare law of the historical development of specific laws and regulations,and then the Japanese <animal welfare law>the main content of the further discussion,and on this basis,the Japanese <animal welfare law> to evaluate,summed up The Main Characteristics of American Animal Welfare Law.Then,according to the present situation and existing problems of animal welfare legislation in our country,the paper explores the enlightenment of Japanese animal welfare legislation on the legislation and legal system of animal welfare legislation in China.Finally,China proposed the development of animal welfare law can refer to some of the feasibility of Japan’s recommendations.
