As an interpreting-major student,taking part in foreign activities and practice projects enables me to get some exercise and gain experience.In September 2017,the author worked as an interpreter for Seminar on Ecological Agriculture & Planting Models and Demonstrations of Special Economic Crops for Developing Countries which was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and co-hosted by Harbin University of Commerce.The author was responsible for the Classroom interpretation and daily affairs,as well as communication and translation work closely related to foreign affairs.During this seminar,professors from Northeast Agricultural University and Northeast Forestry University shared their opinion on agriculture development in developing countries with scholars from 12 countries and provided a good learning and communication platform.This practice report is based on the author's experience of consecutive interpretation for the class of The Current Situation and Development Trend of Potato.This practice report consists of four chapters.The first part is the translation task description,which mainly introduces the background,purpose and significance of this interpretation practice task.The second part describes the process of translation task,which is divided into two stages: preparation and task.The third part is the translation skills and case analysis.As the key part of this paper,the author makes a research and analysis of translation skills by a lot of examples,and proposes solutions.The fourth part is the practice summary,through the summary of this practice,put forward several thoughts of the interpreting experience and the inspiration and expectation for the future work.
