| The concept of pop-up book originated in western countries in the 30s of last century.In recent years,the pop-up book have been greatly developed in China.Actually,as a world factory,China has already produced many pop-up books for foreign countries.However,Chinese original pop-up books only appeared in recent years.In fact,as early asthe Republic of China,simple paper structures appeared in books.But trapped in culturalconstraints and immature production conditions.So the pop-up book did not develop inChina at that time.Now,because of China’s vigorous cultivation of culture,So the pop-upbook are developing rapidly in China.As a designer of the pop-up book,I used fieldwork to collect and sort out the pop-upbooks.And field interviews with designers of the pop-up book.I have made acomprehensive study of the market,audience and current development of the pop-up bookin China.At the same time,I analyze the relationship between the content and historicalbackground of the pop-up book.After that,I analyze the specific functions of the pop-up book in every era frommany angles.And explore why the pop-up book as a niche product has not beeneliminated since it was invented.Finally,I analyze the new way of reading brought about by the pop-up book fromdifferent angles. |
