The Aesthetic Value Of "urban Ruins" In Contemporary Oil Paintings

To this day,exploring the contemporaneity of art is not limited to the application of all kinds of multimedia technology,but most of them are exploring a spiritual dwelling place in the materialized society.In this search,I have made a great deal of sensitivity to the ruins of a city with a trace of memory and a distinct contemporary nature.At present,the demolition has become a common part of city life,it is a hot topic for people at leisure.In an era of rapid development,the unending dismantling and relocation is the only way for China’s modernization and commercialization,and also a necessary condition for urban renewal.However,this has also become one of the components of the "local turn" of Chinese contemporary art.For most of the residents,demolition is a departure from the familiar environment,and everything is buried by the excavator,and no longer belongs to the original owner,but only remnant traces of the memory of the city.As a post-90 s art youth,she has a beautiful vision and a strong morale for the increasingly developing city.Now she has become "ruins" : the deserted open space is broken houses and piles of garbage,which can disappear in an instant.It is such a social reality and the impact of personal feelings,the ruins of the city has become the subject and direction of my painting.In the process of creation,I repeatedly tried to convey the "ruins" I saw by concrete image abstraction technique,using modern and contemporary painting language to express the reality of the present,the memory of the past and the hope for tomorrow.Picasso said,"the art itself is not the same,but the human mind is changing.Therefore,the change of art is showing that the thought is changing." This is the principle of the development of art.Based on my own thoughts,I constantly change,so in the process of exploration,I found my spiritual feelings and sustenance,and gradually defined the future direction of painting,style and breakthrough of artistic creation: image abstract painting form.With this painting element between concretion and abstraction,representation and expression,we can express our generation’s perception of society and life,nature and life.
