In recent years,with the increasingly close relations between China and Ecuador and the extensive use of Chinese all over the world,the number of Chinese learners in Ecuador has increased substantially,including a large number of children.The emergence of such younger learners of Chinese results in a situation that Chinese teachers need to have higher teaching ability and more effective teaching methods.According to my teaching experience in Ecuador,I conducted a survey of the Chinese teaching situation in SEK Los Valles International School from the perspectives of Chinese curriculum setting,teachers,teaching materials,teaching methods and learners.Afterwards I analyzed some problems of the perspectives above in order to summed up some Chinese teaching methods and classroom management methods which are suitable for children,and put forward some suggestions for the schools.I hope to provide some references to Chinese teachers who will go to Ecuador and regard children as teaching objects in the future. |
