Wang Dan Of The Northern Song Dynasty Studied The Influence Of The Sanzong Wang Family

Celebrity and his family has important effects on political dynasties.The Emperor Song Zhenzong period,Dan Wang was given an important position for eighteen years,during the reign of the imperial court,especially the careful cultivation of clan forces,the family and his political complement each other,becoming the reign of a force in Emperor Song Zhenzong period.Researching Dan Wang influence on his family is understanding the political environment in the early years of the Northern Song dynasty.He dedicated to establish family officials circles and family marriages networks.Meanwhile,he emphasized on renovating family tradition,including materials,policy,family reputation,which greatly promoted the Wangs in Sanhuai to become a prominent political family and become its important rely on internal factors in polical.It is of great practical significance for us to understand the influence of Celebrities and their families on the society today.This paper can be divided into six parts:Part One:This part separately discussed the development of Dan Wang and the Wangs in Sanhuai without any influence of Dan Wang.First,it briefly discussed the general situation of the Wangs in Sanhuai.Second,it stated the family development situation under the influence of Yan Wang,Chen Wang,Hu Wang.Third,it focused on the person,Dan Wang,which paved the way for exposing Dan Wang's dedication to the Wangs in Sanhuai after he became the prime minister.Part Two:This part concentrated on Dan Wang's influence on family tradition of the Wangs in Sanhuai.It described Dan Wang positively heralded the family traditions by writing Wenzhengyixun and by setting up examples for others with both precept and practice,which built the traditions of engaging in politics,respecting elders,respecting and loving brothers,loving youth and showing mercy for small people.This action promoted the family unity and set a cultural model for descendants.Part Three:This part depicted marriages situations of Dan Wang's descendants.Under the influence of Dan Wang,the Wangs in Sanhuai had formed an alliance with family bureaucrats for decades by marriage,known as marriage networks.This net brought much convenience for position promotion,which prodigiously shook the power of current policy.Part Four:This part aimed at narrated official friend networks of Dan Wang and his descendants.It uncovered the truth that his official friends played an important role in Dan Wang and his descendants' promotion based on the analysis of his official friend networks.Part Five:This part took the Dan Wang's role in the Wangs in Sanhuai as the study.Due to the bias and protection of Emperor Zhaozong,Dan Wang provided much convenience for his descendants to occupy official positions,which spontaneously improved family social status.At the same time,the favorable materials condition,such as salary,played an important role in propping up the family social status,as well as became the impetus for the Wangs in Sanhuai development.Further,he made many literati friends,who were being used for spreading the Wangs in Sanhuai's reputation.All of those factors significantly promoted the Wangs in Sanhuai's social status and reputation.Part Six:This part mainly studied,under the lead of Dan Wang,the Wangs in Sanhuai's influence on Northern Song Dynasty policy.During Dan Wang's term,he aggravated the problem of "Superabundant Officers and Expense",a problem existing in Northern Dynasty for a long time,and set a precedent for "Conflicts between Northern and Southern Parties" and "Peace Negotiation" systems,which exerted a profound impact on Northern Dynasty in mid and late times.After the death of Dan Wang,the Wangs in Sanhuai got decline for involving in political disputes of "the Political Reform in Qingli Period" and "Wang Anshi's Political Reforms".
