A Study On Sanhuai Wang Household

The Sanhuai Wang household is one of the most famous grand household in the Song dynasty. It rises at early Song dynasty and Wang Hu, its first generation, makes the household famous. Wang Dan, its second generation, is the Prime Minister of Zhen Zong Period and has been at the post for 12 years, which greatly influences the government. There are other famous persons among its afterworld. Wang Su, son of Wang Dan, is a very famous consultant who always states his mind frankly and thereby is called " Merlin". He once actively participated in " The Qing Li New Deal". His son Wang Gong has a close relationship with Shu Shi and his brother. He is even embroiled and demoted because of this and never yielded He has produced many works and part of them can still be found. Wang Lun, an important diplomat in the transitional phase from Nan Song to Bei Song dynasty, has been sent on a diplomatic mission from time to time and has experienced great hardship. Lastly he was killed because he refuses to work for the state of Jin. Other heroes are Wang Zhi, Wang Jing, Wang Zhen and Wang Gu. By exploring this household's descent, life experience of individuals, their official careers and works, house hold life, marriages and their influence, etc., I made a thorough study on the household and therefore filled the blankness in historical research. What's more, since the study on history of different households has become worldwide popular while in China, only little achievement in this area has been made, this article can be regarded as an important case study.
