This article takes the rise and fall of the central government and the local government`s strength in the Five Dynasties as an entry point.It mainly elaborates the Central Government's cutting measures and their influence during the Five Dynasties.It is divided into five chapters.The author believes that through the improvement of the ban on the military system,the strengthening of the monitoring mechanism,and the recovery of local state administration,the Five Dynasties court has promoted the growth of its own military strength.Further,the action taken by the government to subdivide the town and relocate the town commander has given the local forces some control.At the same time,the military family has the tendency to worship Confucianism,and the army will change its arrogant way under the strict punishment,which makes the arrogant soldiers get some degree of change.The local mutiny is getting smaller and smaller.The Five Dynasties of imperial court gradually restored the central authority,and pushed the society from turbulence to peace in Song Dynasty.
