A Preliminary Study Of Tianshi Tao In The Qing Dynasty

What Wudoumi Taoism found by Zhang Ling in late Han Dynasty is that first religious sect,which is the predecessor of Tianshi Taoism.Gradually,Tianshi Taoism got rid of the characteristics of folk religion and turned towards the cultural elite class after the reform of Kou and Lu in Northern and Southern Dynasties.What's more,tianshi Taoism have stepped onto the historical stage of China as a truly important forces.Since then,Taoism gradually produced Shang Qing and Ling Bao by the development of the sects and appeared double metaphysics on the basis of the Wei and Jin metaphysics in the Tang Dynasty.It made Taoist thought theory has been further sublimation.Taoism was in the corresponding silence because of the world confusion after Tang Dynasty.Due to the preference of monarch,Taoism began a new development by Song Dynasty reunification.At this time,it has produced a number of new features of the sect,such as Qing Wei,Shen Xiao and so on.At the period of Song and Yuan Dynasties,the number of sects has been declining.Quan Zhen Taoism which is the representative of the Nei Dan have appeared and pushed the Taoist system to the new heights.And at this time,Tianshi Taoism has gradually begun to become the leader of Fulu sects.To the Ming Dynasty generation,Taoism gradually integrated into the Quan Zhen and Zheng Yi.As the leader of Zheng Yi sect,Zhang Tianshi of Longhu mountain reached the summit of power because of the function of administrating the whole Taoism.Lao Zi once said: Misfortune,that is where happiness depends,happiness,that is where misfortune underlies.Good and bad is slowly changing every time.The situation of Tianshi Taoism has become worse and worse in Qing dynasty that is the last feudal dynasty.As a circulation,Tianshi Taoism had experienced prosperous time and declining time from Northern and Southern Dynasties to Qing dynasty.no matter how change,Taoism is one of the three major fulcrum of Chinese culture.Taoism continues to play an important role in Chinese culture.Taoism is of great significance for the Chinese culture.Tianshi Taoism,the major part of Taoism,has played a vital role.This paper is divided into four parts,On the basis of review of the Qing Dynasty,the first part is to analyze the condition of the Tianshi Taoism in the Qing Dynasty.The second part discusses the Tianshi who is the most important elements of the Tianshi Taoism,and introduces the most famous Taoist Lou Jinyuan.The third part,on the basis concept of Fulu,introduces and researches the general situation of the granting Fulu in Qing Dynasty by using the relevant Taoist literature and Taoist Jinglu.The last part discuss the situation of folk development of Zhang Tianshi belief in late Qing Dynasty.
