Root memorization has a great effect on the memory and the depth of the master of English words,It is based on the etymology of English.Etymology is a view of the second language vocabulary teaching.Chinese etymological research is rich,but it is seldom applied in the education of the vocabulary of foreign Chinese.This paper studies the combination of Chinese etymology and foreign Chinese vocabulary teaching,and helps foreign students master Chinese vocabulary.The first chapter illustrates the significance of Chinese etymology to foreign Chinese vocabulary teaching and the reason of choosing labial cognate words as the research object,points out that the method of morpheme is the basis of Chinese etymological application in foreign Chinese vocabulary teaching.The second chapter uses the etymological classification of etymological monographs,such as The Dictionary of Homology Words,written by Wang Li to classify the Labial cognates in the National Syllabus of Graded Words and Characters for Chinese Proficiency,and analyzes the characteristics of each word clan.On the basis of the second chapter,the third chapter systematically arranges the labial new words of each class in the intermediate and advanced comprehensive course textbook of Developing Chinese(2nd edition),and puts forward the specific teaching methods for each new word.Chapter 4 puts forward the specific teaching strategies of labial homologous words teaching:introducing in the middle and advanced stage,avoiding abuse of principle,discrimination,combining the text teaching and thematic teaching,etc.Then two sets of labial words were selected to design the thematic teaching plan.This paper is based on previous studies on the Chinese cognate,applies Chinese etymology theory to foreign Chinese vocabulary teaching,puts forward the teaching method and the teaching strategy in detail.It provides reference for future foreign Chinese vocabulary teaching.
