Oral literature plays a very important role in Tibetan folk literature."Sa Bstod " speech is a part of oral literature in Rebgong area."Sa Bstod " speech is very famous for its long history and its culture value.It has been very popular in nomadic areas.It reflects the people's behavior from the same period,ideology,folk customs,philosophy,values,and so on.This paper describes "Sa Bstod " speech in Tibetan nomadic Villages in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,Qinghai Province,China.An analysis of the changes "Sa Bstod " speeches among these nomad villages are presented.It is based on interviews conducted from 2012 to now.These include: formal interviews with village elders,village Sa Bstod "talkers and some Tibetan scholars."Sa Bstod " speech were strongly associated with community culture among rebgong Tibetan nomad villages in the past.People speech "Sa Bstod " during the special festivals such as: New Year,weddings,horse race,new tent celebration,and other important village gatherings.Since the early 1980 s,the "Sa Bstod " speech and other folk culture in Rebgong has undergone great changes because of the rapid modernization,particularly in last 30 years,which have greatly influenced the economic conditions of villagers and their life style.This is more pronounced among villagers resettled within the last 10 years,among whom community values have greatly diminished.The advent of electricity in the village brought entertainment appliances such as TV,VCD,and DVD players with modern and popular music to the village,and young people no longer learn "Sa Bstod " speechs from village elders.Therefore,the "Sa Bstod " speechs in Villages is now in great danger of disappearing.This paper has four chapters.The first chapter is mostly introduction to "Sa Bstod " speech and defined some other terms that related to "Sa Bstod " speech.In the second chapter describe similarities and deference between "Sa Bstod " speeches in different villages in Rebgong.Also in this chapter meanly talk about how the "Sa Bstod " speech has been changed in different time in past and give some reasons that why it has been changed.In the third chapter,talked more about culture meaning and social meaning of "Sa Bstod " speech and why "Sa Bstod " speech is very important in Tibetan culture.At the end,try to give personal ideas that how to preserve oral literature in Tibetan area during these special time.This is the structure of my paper.
