The Qianwei Traditional Instruments Orchestra(QTIO),was formally established in 1956.It was one of the representative national orchestra in the early times of the People’s Republic of China and was the most influential national orchestra in Shandong district at the same time.The development of QTIO is divided into early stage(reconstruction and development of 1956-1965),middle stage(1966-1976 years of stagnation)and later stage(recovery and development since 1977).In this paper,the early stage of QTIO,that is,the development of 1956-1966 is regarded as the main object of study.The paper is divided into four chapters.In the first chapter,comb and verify the QTIO prototype generation,remove to Jinan and early stage development.Summarize the development of The Cultural Revolution and its aftermath.In the second chapter,comprehensive reappear the QTIO’s early music creation,explore the reason of prominent creation.And spys on the artistic style of the national orchestral works through the analysis of the early three representative national orchestral works.In the third chapter,through to the band constitution and instrument reform of QTIO early establishment,explore the formation of them and the relationship between the Qilu traditional music culture.In the fourth chapter,the article summarizes the early artistic achievements of QTIO and discusses the root of this cultural phenomenon.In the conclusion part,points out that QTIO’s early development and Qilu traditional music culture has the close relation,she is typical of traditional instruments orchestra of Shandong,outstanding representative in the history of the instrument reform,and expatiate some views.
