Comparative Study Of The Application Of Percussion Instruments In The Orchestra And Chinese Orchestra

This paper,in its first part,briefly discusses the development process and the formation of Chinese and foreign percussion instruments in Chinese and western orchestras.Then,on the basis of that,it discusses the function of percussion instruments in western symphony orchestra and in Chinese orchestra respectively and makes relevant comparison taking cymbals and cymbals as examples.In this part,the historical origin,shape and structure,performance style and application scope of the two are firstly compared.After that,examples of cymbals and cymbals used in symphonic music and folk music are analyzed to compare the functions of the two instruments in different orchestras.The paper also makes a comparative study on the two instruments in their playing style,playing state,playing skill and vocal coordination,and so on,to explore their similarities and differences in the aspects referred to.
