In the end of the 19 th century – beginning of the 20 th century the image of women became one of the most important items of mass art,which most integral part is art of the poster.During the development of the world economy,the image of women became a weapon of the advertisement industry,and women's beauty became a product.As any product,people try to decorate it more,and as a result,it lost its natural look and was influenced by beauty stereotypes.The worlds most famous brands,choosing one or another image of women's beauty automatically made it an icon of style,which influenced the rest of the worlds concept of beauty.So,researching and systemizeing women's images of different times and cultures,can create a conception about its development in both history and society.In this article we survey the history of women image and the development on posters during its contemporary history period,where it exists as a separate part of fine art,which is about 150 years ago.We analized hand painted posters of women,because first,at that time there where no photographic images on posters,and the second – drawn image better shows the essence of the represented character.
