The material of this translation project is based on a travel report which originates from the World Travel Organization website.The main aim of this report is to discuss the problems encountered in the process of translation.The text is mainly involved in the related content of food tourism.The author uses a variety of methods to deal with the questions,which is frequently appeared in the text such as the analysis of word meaning,the compound sentences,the parenthesis of the sentences and the discourse cohesion.Through this practice of translation,the author defines the characteristics of the tourism text and acquires a lot of valuable experience.Meanwhile,the author hopes that this report would provide some references for the relative fields of travel translation in the future.
