Sino-Vietnamese Trade Research (1950-2016)

With the development of economic globalization and trade liberalization,the economic and trade links between countries are becoming more and more close.China and Vietnam are connected with mountains and rivers,and the diplomatic relations,economy,culture and trade between the two countries have a long history.The bilateral development of the two neighboring countries is consistent with the historical trend of peace and development and the demands of the two peoples to continuously improve the material and cultural level.China's founding in 1949.1950 the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries,more than 60 years history of trade between the two countries will be tightly linked together the two countries.Today,China and Vietnam under the background of “ the Belt and Road " and “two corridors a circle",further in-depth development of bilateral trade cooperation.With the rapid booming trade between the two countries,the problems existing in the trade also gradually obvious.To a certain extent,these problems hinder or even threatening bilateral economic and trade development for a long time.So the study of china-vietnam bilateral trade has important significance.This article adopts the method of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis.Through the analysis of domestic and international relevant research results and shortcomings,combing the history of the 66 trade development,research in the form of bilateral trade,characteristics and problems in each stage.Through Lhasa revealed comparative advantage index,export similarity index and trade complementarity index and the index of industry inner trade for empirical analysis.Under the perspective of the comparative advantage,structural match and intra-industry trade,Study China and Vietnam goods trade competitive and complementary.The research results show that China mainly has a comparative advantage in manufactured goods,Vietnam has a comparative advantage products mainly primary products,and the export of China and Vietnam market structure and export product structure is similar,but each country has the advantages of products ofthe same degree is not high.On the other hand,China and Vietnam have complementary product section is more,the goods trade complementary is also very strong.In addition,mainly concentrated in 0,7 and 8 products,and the level of intra-industry trade has highlighted,presents the rising trend.But the other products import and export trade mainly inter-industry tradeFinally,the author concluded that the competitiveness of China-Vietnamese trade in goods and the competition was flat.This situation has seriously affected the further development of bilateral economic and trade relations.On this basis,this article from the perspective of government and enterprises put forward suggestions,such as actively strengthen friendly propaganda,promoting enterprise's scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries,increase the investment level,strengthen the consciousness of the quality of the product,etc.,to promote the sustainable development of Sino-Vietnamese trade.
