| Hongyi is a legendary figure in modern history.He was born at the end of the turbulent Qing Dynasty and experienced political changes and a life transition from being a monk to being a monk.Master Hongyi has made immortal achievements in painting,calligraphy,seal cutting,drama,music and other fields.He is not only the forerunner of the new culture movement in China,but also a prominent monk in the modern history of Chinese Buddhism.In calligraphy,most of Hongyi’s works are regular script,from the initial pursuit of individual expression to the final form of his own unique style of Zen.This paper takes the regular script of Master Hongyi as the research object to grasp the development process of "Hongyi font" as a whole.First of all,based on Master Hongyi’s life and artistic experience,this paper briefly combs his artistic achievements in various aspects.The second is to study Master Hongyi’s book learning thoughts and the reasons for the formation of his thoughts;Then it summarizes the development and evolution of Master Hongyi’s regular script techniques,and analyzes the characteristics of Master Hongyi’s regular script techniques from three aspects: the use of the brush,the conclusion and the regulation.Then,it classifies the regular script works of Master Hongyi according to the style of calligraphy,studies the characteristics of different styles,explores the origin of the style of writing,and carries out the practice of imitating the style of Master Hongyi’s works.Finally,the author will apply the research results of Master Hongyi’s regular script to the author’s personal calligraphy creation,and make a preliminary exploration of personal style of writing. |
