Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart(1756-1791),was one of the greatest composer in classical period.Although he lived only 35 years,he composed lot of works which covered almost all genres.In piano works,he composed sonatas,concertos,which later become important genres in classical period.This research focus on his 12 th piano sonata(F Major,K332),through the process of comparing different editions of scores and audios,in order to draw a conclusion of performance indication.This sonata(K332)was composed in 1782.Due to the long history,there exist many editions.This research collects 5 editions: Henle Verlag,Peters Verlag,Breitkopf & Hartel,Wiener Urtext and ABRSM Publishing,and 4 editions of audio: Mitsko Uchida,Ingrid Haebler,Andras Schiff and Claudio Arrau.Through the analysis of these edition,I discovered that the main differences of scores and audios are ornaments and articulation.Therefore,this research focus on the comparison of ornaments and articulation of differences of scores and audios,and through the support of literature,give references to performance interpretation and teaching.
