The 20 th century is an important period for Chinese art to change from traditional form to modern form.If we set a simple coordinate for this development of art in the past century,it's not difficult to find that a peak of about ten years appears respectively in the mid-term of the first and second half century(as the picture shows)—late 20 s to late 30 s and late 70 s to late 80 s.What's more,we can continue to find that, although the two peaks are separated from each other for decades and they are in different historical periods and times, they have many similarities and commonalities in occurrence, process and result, influence.Despite their peculiarities are quite obvious, but in general, their internal relations are far greater than their own independent personalities, which is not just a coincidence.Today, tide receded and neon on the horizon, when we re-comb the development of art and art movement in these two periods, can we reveal the existence of logic and the inheritance relationship between them, and give an appropriate and fair judgment? Now in the coming of a new wave of cultural globalization tide, our country actively promotes the realization of national renaissance policy, vigorously advocates cultural development and prosperity at the same time, and puts forward the assertion to strengthen local cultural self-confidence.What's the purpose of this series of initiatives? There is no ready answer in history, but by reviewing the past, perhaps we can see a little clue in order to provide some reference for the present culture and arts development.
