The Evolution And Development Of Chinese Popular Chorus

Pop chorus is a new form of chorus which appeared in the end of the 20th Century in China. It has a very strong development momentum in China.At present, the tendency of popularity of art songs and popular songs chorus makes more and more people like and engage in the activities of the pop chorus. No matter where we are,in the street, in the square, on the campus, in the community and so on, we can also see people sing pop chorus. So it is important to make clear the historical origin of the pop chorus and to analyze its characteristics and development process, which has important historical and practical significance to the pop music and chorus art.This paper attempts to research a new form of chorus in the chorus art, and the historical evolution and development of pop chorus. Through the investigation of the evolution of the historical form of pop chorus, the classification of the types and the implicit music style and expression form, I prospect and orient the future developing tendency of pop chorus.On this basis, I mainly research from the following several aspects:First, do historical investigation of the origin of Chinese pop singing form, including the background, features, singing style, musical characteristics and influence.Second, make a study on the art style and expression of the pop chorus with some cases.Third, make a though inquiry of the aesthetic value of popular chorus in China.Fourth, the two main researched directions of pop chorus on the future development: first, the combination of nationality and modernity, second, the combination of Chinese elements and world's elements.In this paper, through historical investigation and comprehensive analysis, I study the Chinese pop chorus from the perspective of cultural pluralism. It is pop music, and also it has a very high artistic level, it is the popularization and supplement to the traditional chorus under China contemporary cultural development, with its unique artistic charm to create a miracle of Chinese chorus. At the beginning of the 20th century, European choral art came into China, because of the special social background of China at that time, the art form became one of the popular and expanding main tools and means to show the responsibility to national salvation. Chorus was given a powerful social function of carrying the revival of the popular music. After new China was founded, as an important form of contemporary China chorus, its developing speed is especially fast. How to stand on a new perspective on today's diversified choral art show of popular choral works, summarized and analyzed them. Then collecting and arranging the choral works adapted from pop songs and the A cappella works. All researches are the academic contribution to pop chorus.The development of today's pop chorus is very quickly. However, there are still many problems waiting for us to discover and solve. In this paper, I attempt to put forward the basic problems and realistic expectations in the perspective of history and reality for Chinese pop chorus as far as possible.
