Research On The Pronouns In Pingding Dialect In Shanxi Province

Pingding county,which is the member of Yangquan city,is located in the middle of Shanxi Province on the east side.In the language atlas of China, Pingding dialect belongs to bingzhou piece.Pingding dialect pronoun is riched. In form, meaning, usage, etc., there are many uniques which are different from other dialects. This paper takes pingding county dialect as the main research object. This paper discusses the Pingding county dialect pronoun, in order to fill the void in the study of Pingding dialect pronoun which belongs to jin dialect and lay the foundation for the later Pingding dialect grammar’s research.It is also for the study of the jin language and dialect pronoun.Paper is divided into six parts in total.The first chapter is introduction. It mainly includes the introduction of pingding county, its dialect, this topic’s present situation, significance and methods of research.The second chapter is the personal pronoun, mainly including the expression, basic meaning, function, usage and related forms of the personal pronoun.The third chapter is the demonstrative pronoun, including the forms, basic meaning, function, usage of demonstrative pronoun and the discussion of demonstrative pronoun’s related issues. Pingding dialect demonstrative pronoun can indicate near, middle and far place. And its pronunciation is diversiform. Pingding dialect demonstrative pronoun can refer to the third personal pronoun. But the expression of emotion is despised, abandon, blame. In addition, the demonstrative pronoun that refers to far in Pingding dialect "wai[vE313]" contain the part of speech of both the possessive auxiliary words and the quantifier words ".The fourth chapter is the interrogative pronoun, including the interrogative pronoun’s forms, basic meaning, function, usage and backchat usage, not doubt usage of interrogative pronoun. Among them, the interrogative pronoun "za" has features considerably. And there are a number of related terms about "za" in Pingding dialect.The fifth chapter is the comparation of Pingding dialect pronoun and taiyuan dialect pronoun. Pingding dialect belongs to the dabao piece. However taiyuan dialect belongs to bingzhou piece. Two places is not far. The dialect similarities is in the majority. But there are also many differences. This chapter compared the similarities and differences between two dialect pronoun from the personal pronoun, demonstrative pronoun and interrogative pronoun.The sixth chapter is the conclusion. It summarized some characteristics of pronouns mainly from the aspects of phonetic, lexical meaning, heritage of ancient and modern Chinese dialect.
