In The Late Ming Dynasty, Zheng Yuanxun Studied The "Fairy Club Entertainment"

The essay of the late Ming Dynasty is an important turning point in the history of Chinese prose development. As one of the three essay anthologies, Meiyougewenyu is a typical example in the late Ming Dynasty. Not only because it is rich in test and genre, but also it presents a wild range of professional writers and a large number of appropriate comments from the editors. In this paper, to combine with the background of the essay development in the late Ming Dynasty, the author attempts to do the thematic research of Meiyougewenyu from different views.This paper is composed of four chapters. The first chapter offers the background and purpose of the test editing. Thus, this chapter includes two parts. For the first part, to introduce the background of the test editing, the author lists from the following three dimensions, politics and life, the Confusion moral philosophy and Zen Buddhism, as well as to secure an official position and keep in health. Based on the preface of the anthology and the selected articles, the content of the second part is to study the editing purpose Meiyougewenyu made by Zheng Yuanxun.The second chapter expounds the genre selection and text-selecting standard of Meiyougewenyu. It has two parts. In part one, it shows the classified research of various genres that chosen by the author. In part two, according to the selected essays, the author makes a concrete analysis about the text-selecting standard of Zheng Yuanxun.The third chapter,the author attempts to presents the essay concept of Meiyougewenyu.There are three parts in the chapter.The first part analyzes the formative background of "Entertainment",and gives the new explanation of "Entertainment".Based on the content characteristics and comments of the selected essay,the second part explains the marvelous literary preference of Zheng Yuanxun.The third partdiscusses the innovative literary pursuit of Zheng Yuanxun.The third part discusses the innovative literary pursuit of Zheng Yuanxun by analyzing the preface and content of Meiyougewenyu.
