Different dialects are used in the the townships under the jurisdiction of Sheyang County. On the whole, the north area lie to the Huangsha Port is covered by the Binfu pieces which belongs to the Hongchao pieces, and the south area lie to the Huangsha Port is covered by the Janyan pieces which belongs to the Tongtai pieces. Previous studies on the territory of Sheyang dialects most are concentrated on traditional rhyme describtion, and the object is usually limited to the Hede words. In this paper, we try to study the phonetic systems of north and south words in Sheyang through experimental and acoustic methods. Then Hede words is on behalf of north dialacts and Panwan words is on behalf of south dialacts in Sheyang.Early days, we conducted fieldwork with the software named Feifeng aimd to get a preliminary understanding of the Hede and Panwan words and design the Word List, which used to do the fuether conduction. Then we did the recordings according to the Word List with X-recorder, and did annotation to establish a database with Emu software, and did statistical analysis with R software. Finally we describe and compare the consonant, vowel, tone system of Hede and Panwan words. This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, mainly discusses previously research on Sheyang dialects, purpose of this paper, experimental methods and related information in this program. The second chapter researches the consonant system of Hede and Panwan words, establishing the category and number of consonants, then study the acoustic features thtough duration and its relationship between energy and frequency. The third chapter is the main part of the paper, available for the discussion, we will divide syllable structures into three categories:(C)V, (C)VN, (C)VG, where C represents a consonant, V represents a vowel (single and diphthong), N representatives the nasal vowel sound tail (front nasal [n], and after nasal [?]), G representatives glottal stop. We discussed vowel system of both Hede and Panwan words from the duration and formants (F1, F2), by calculating the formant data, drawing all kinds of acoustic vowel diagram to describe and compare the tongue position or movement stability situation of various types of structures. The fourth chapter discusses the tone of the acoustic features of both Hede and Panwan words. And we do a brief description of the pitch, duration, and intensity of five classes.
