"The Nineteen Old Poems" is a monument in the history of Chinese poetry. Its immortal artistic charm calls generations' recipients and result in the formation of glorious reception history of thousand years. Since the acceptance of "The Nineteen Old Poems" in Ming Dynasty has not been adequately studied, consequently, this paper will study the acceptance of "The Nineteen Old Poems" by dominant poetics in Ming Dynasty using the theoretical method of reception aesthetics, based on the combination of literature data and theoretical analysis, in order to reveal the impact and reason of "The Nineteen Old Poems " on poetry criticism and poetry creation in Ming Dynasty.Introduction firstly introduces reception aesthetics and research achievements obtained by using this theory in the research field of Chinese classical literature. Secondly, this part summarizes the research results of the acceptance of "The Nineteen Old Poems " in the Ming Dynasty, and points out deficiencies of the research. Finally, it explores the value and significance of this thesis.The text is divided into three chapter, they are mutually independent and interrelated and constitute an organic whole text together. The first two chapters are the main contents of the thesis, according to the time order, these two chapters gradually analyzes mainstream poetic schools and representative poetics'reception of "The Nineteen Old Poems" in the sequence of early, middle and late periods of Ming dynasty.Chapter one focuses on the reception of "The Nineteen Old Poems" by Retro Faction represented by Seven Tzu School. Seven Tzu school show a dual tendency of reception of "The Nineteen Old Poems". On the one hand, in order to set up "The Nineteen Old Poems" as the highest example of Han-Wei dynasty's poetry, they spread the criticism on "The Nineteen Old Poems" in the aspects of testimonies, artistic features, aesthetic implication, history status etc. On the other hand, "The Nineteen Old Poems " was established as a model of simulation by Seven Tzu School, and they created a large number of pastiches of "The Nineteen Old Poems"Chapter two analyzes the reception of "The Nineteen Old Poems " in late Ming period. There were four theorists which mainly refers to Gong'an School, Jingling School, Lu Shiyong and Xu Xueyi showed different reception styles. Some of them understood and received "The Nineteen Old Poems " from the perspective of Theory of "Natural Disposition and Intelligence (xingling)", some elucidated his poetic theory of "Poetic Charm (shenyun)" through the criticism and reception of "The Nineteen Old Poems", and some summarized the poetics of Han-Wei dynasty of Seven Tzu School by focusing on "The Nineteen Old Poems'Chapter three gives the theoretical summary of the reception of "The Nineteen Old Poems" in the Ming Dynasty, and it emphatically expounds the function and impact of "The Nineteen Old Poems" on the poetic criticism and creation in the Ming Dynasty.
