Drug use has been a pernicious social phenomenon for a long time around the world. In recent years, drug cases of stars emerge in endlessness, it also had sparked more and more public attention on it. This study chose 124 drug addicts from Nanjing Dalian Mountain RTL (Drug rehabilitation center) and 207 normal people from different areas of occupation with no history of drug abuse as subjects. The life events scale, perceived social support scale and resilience scale were used for investigating and analyses in this study. This paper discussed the differences between the drug users and normal people in the above mental variables and analyses the regulating role of the resilience in the stressful life events and the perceived social support in order to provide the theoretical basis for drug rehab work. Here are the conclusions of the study:1. There were significant differences between drug addicts and non drug addicts in the stressful life events, perceived social support and their friends’ support dimension within it, and toughness dimensions in resilience.2. There was significant negative correlation between stressful life events and perceived social support as the relationship between stressful life events and resilience among drug addicts. Besides, there was significant positive correlation between resilience and social support. Stressful life events have significant prediction effect on regulating effect of resilience and understanding. However, there was no regulating effect in each variable.3. Among non drug addicts, there was significant positive correlation between the stressful life events and resilience and significant negative correlation between stressful life events and perceived social support. At the same time, there was significant positive correlation between resilience and perceived social support. Stressful life events have significant prediction effect on regulating effect of resilience and understanding. And the support from family and friends had significant regulating effect on stressful life events and perceived social support.
