Carnival Under The Role Play

Cosplay is one of the main subsidiary cultures of ACG culture.Nowadays, it has been developed into a new industry and occupied an important position in the ACG culture industry. With the national promote of Cultural Creative Industries in recent years, Cosplay has become more and more popular in the youth groups. They dressed their favorite anime or video game characters. In the Comic Con catwalk show, or on the network share cos works. Many people think it difficult to understand, because most of Cosplay is exaggerated and strange, but the youth Cosplay wave has undoubtedly spread to the world.It's the highlight of many popular culture in recent years.It has been paid the widespread attention in the society.In this paper, auther aims at making use of the Bakhtin's carnival theory to examine the Cosplay culture which current popular in the youth groups,and reveals the Carnival features of the Cosplay culture and the dual nature. Firstly,this paper introduces the research origin and significance, combing the Cosplay culture and carnival theory, and discusses the ideas and methods of this study; secondly, starting from the Cosplay youth Carnival and unique culture, in the carnival crowd, the carnival square and carnival mask three aspects show the spectacular Carnival after analysis; the Cosplay Carnival interpretation, reveals the correspondence between Cosplay and Carnival sense of the world and the carnival spirit, analyzes the show in Cosplay free intimate relationships, rituals of crowning and decrowning, everywhere in the laughter, grotesque image, parody and spoof form all contain profound Carnival characteristics.Finally, starting from the carnival of the dual logic. It is pointed out that the cosplay is witty world outlook and subversion of the nature of the upper layer in a large extent is a kind of self comfort.It is to meet the masquerade of adolescent emotional catharsis method and the safety valve of resistance forces and in youth publicity still exist various Carnival of the dark side. Finally,the auther believe that Cosplay is an adult ceremony in the game under the game, although the performance of the Cosplay in the form of narrow, vulgar and poor, there is a loss of youth and Carnival style of the spirit of the decline, but the Cosplay for the reconstruction of the role of youth, to show their own and the pursuit of the ideal state is still a rare value and influence.
