| “Funk” music is the last century 60's in the middle of the origin of a black American pop music style. Its main feature is the rhythm complexity, linkage and segmentation in two in time. Its distinctive features in modern rhythm become an independent school variety and different styles of popular music, is widely used. "Funk" music heroines the biggest bright spot is the full bass rhythm changes, and electric bass(bass guitar) is the bass voice in pop music, funk music on electric bass rhythm plays an indispensable role in the is development of melody and rhythm of trunk line.“Funk” music has a strong integration innovation, in the development process of draw the characteristics of blues, jazz, rock and other music, fusion derived a new style of music, and promote the development of pop music. Also due to "funk" music emphasizes the rhythm of the bass effect, making the electric bass playing skills with great creativity and improve.The current Chinese popular music is booming, bass guitar as the main accompaniment of musical instruments, playing techniques has also been greatly improved. "Funk" music rhythm is one of the electric bass mainly playing techniques,in popular music in our country has got more and more application. This paper summarizes the analysis and practice of classical transcriptions study of music and its performance characteristics and integration and innovation effect, hope that through their own research and original music creation practice, to “Funk” play a certain role in promoting the application and popularization of the music. The article is divided into three chapters:(1) full of passion funk music(2) electric bass and "funk" music(3) exploration and research.
