Marcuse previous studies have focused on its critique of capitalist society, which rarely involve vision of socialism, and this paper aims to systematically expounded the theory of socialism during the formation of Marcuse, and objectively Comment their socialist theory.This paper is divided into four chapters, the first chapter describes the background Marcuse Socialist Theory: Marcuse in the Second International economic determinism,in the case of the Soviet Union and the European model rigid communist movement failed again and again, from Heidegger, Marx, Hegel and Freud draw nutrients, which for his social theory foundation. The fourth chapter describes Marcuse meaning and limits of socialist theory.Marcuse's theory of socialism under the new situation of socialist new interpretation and definition, its focus in the human consciousness, people seeking liberation, he highlighted the economic determinism and dogmatism worries, seek another way its socialist road and the socialist society is non-repressed, utopian and ethical society. Although his theory of socialism there is no solid political and economic base, which will eventually unattainable utopia, but its focus on people, focus on people living worth considering.
