Qufu Han Monument Research

Chinese characters are the carrier of Chinese culture, also the carrier of Chinese calligraphy art, so the pursuit of calligraphy art cannot leave the understanding of Chinese characters. Hometown of Confucius- Qufu, is known for it’s Confucian culture in the two Han period was important fief of Lu, the area for we saved a lot of precious inscription.Especially in the eastern Han dynasty, advocating Confucianism, respect the character, and the influence of Confucian culture and conception, make the region’s climate, which is an elaborate funeral very prevalent. Used to live in the place of dignitaries built for themselves and their forefathers luxury tombs, stone, so the region stone forest, the wind of carved stone grow and thrive, For example, the Kowloon hills, discovered in 1970, is located in the town of Qufu area light snow, mausoleum drooling over the Kowloon hills, the legend of nine kings of Lu was buried here. The second part introduces the growth of Han Dynasty Stele of Qufu inscription environment and social and historical background, including:(1) the Qin dynasty and the Han dynasty political and economic prosperity;(2) The saint legacy and the influence of diffuse in Qufu(3) concepts and lights, the wind of the prevalence of;(4) guests and strongmen, pupil and guru, slave and construct the main social relations. The above several aspects have important influence on the emergence and development of Han dynasty tablet of Qufu. The third part focuses on classifying of Han dynasty tablet in Qufu area, according to the different purposes of them can be divided into mark class three most chronicle sharpening,tombstone, monument, and for each han origin, purpose, content and characteristics of the inscriptions are summarized.
