The methods of creating an image self-portrait is the main content of this thesis. The image self-portrait is the way for artists exploring the world and presenting themselves There were many explorations for methods, features and significance of self-portrait and image before, but the research of self-portrait mainly relates to the field of painting, and the study of image are rarely associated to self-portraits. My research is based on the self-portrait in painting and expand to the field of image, combining the work of image self-portrait to find out the features, creating methods and theoretical support. Chapter one starts with a summary of the significance of self-portrait. Chapter two expands the definition of self-portrait to the field of image, discussing the characteristics and features with 2 analysis examples in this part. And in chapter three, combining with my short film "25" to present the study conclusion.This research is a new perspective of image creation, It is the process of improving the ability of image control and the theoretical support, which is of great significance to the artistic creation of image self-portrait.
